ART IN THE PRE-SCHOOL, environment strives to maintain the great joy the child finds in creating something of his or her own. The children have the freedom to explore their imaginations in a variety of mediums used for expression. The importance of the process is stressed at this time, not the end product. Self expression through art is an important part of the weekly program, which encourages the children to develop their creativity.
THE CHILDREN EXPLORE VARIOUS media such as crayons, chalk, pencils and paint. Art postcards are also provided so that children may become familiar with famous art and artists.
