FIELD TRIP AND SPECIAL VISITORS enhance our Montessori curriculum and provide opportunities for the
children to explore the world around us. At The Children’s Montessori Academy, our field trips take place in the
Fall and in the Spring. Special Visitors are scheduled throughout the year.
THESE EXPERIENCES MAKE A DEEP impression on the children. Nothing
can substitute the experience of feeling a boa constrictor’s skin, feeding farm animals, planting strawberries,
making a clay model of a T-Rex’s tooth or sounding the siren on a fire engine.
FIELD TRIPS ARE ALSO TIMES for our Montessori community to spend
time together. As we are a small school, the majority of our parents (and even grandparents) join us on our
field trips making these days even more special!
